Graduate Program: Business Master of Business Administration

Our 30-credit-hour program (10-courses) offers a General MBA Concentration that can be completed in as little as one year, but you are allowed five years to fulfill the degree in the classroom or online.

Your Courses

The program is available online and on campus. The courses are offered during the fall, winter, spring, and summer, with 10-week courses each term. To accommodate busy schedules, courses offered on campus meet only once a week for 3.5 hours.

Special Notice for CPA Candidates:  The MBA degree provides the student with a degree beyond the Bachelor in Accounting Degree and at the same time fulfills the new state requirements.  Those desiring to sit for the CPA examination and pursue a Master’s Degree to fulfill the 150-hour requirement can accomplish both within the MBA program at Quincy University.

MBA testing policy update:                                               

Applicants must have or will have completed a baccalaureate degree. Applicants with an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will be recommended for admission. Applicants whose undergraduate cumulative GPA is between 2.5 and 3.0 will be considered for conditional admission and must earn a minimum 3.0 GPA in graduate courses by the end of the first trimester. Applicants for conditional admission should submit the application, a current resume, and an essay of at least 500 words detailing the petitioner’s educational goals, work experience, and any extenuating circumstances affecting any deficiencies in past academic performance. A graduate degree in a relevant field or at least five years of relevant professional experience with increasing responsibility, and strong verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills as substantiated by graduate transcripts, professional certifications, or other qualifications, may be considered.
